Hopper Scale and Weigh Silo Description
Hopper scales (also known as weigh hoppers or weigh bins) and weigh silos are common for many industrial sites. Most types of products are stored in bins, hoppers, or silos before transfer to a mixer or a transport vehicle and using a weighing system enables accurate monitoring and management of the product while in the bin or silo.
By installing a weigh hopper (or installing loadcells under an existing hopper) control in transfer of product around site can be achieved.
Loadcell Kits
Existing weigh hoppers and silos, that were not initially installed with a weighing system, can be retrofitted using loadcell kits installed under the hopper or silo. Silo loadcell kits are specifically designed to control silo movement and prevent excessive silo tilting.
