Crane Scale Description

Suspended weighing scales, and in particular Crane Scales, are often a practical way of weighing awkward and large items that are not able to be placed on a platform scale. It is, ofcourse, necessary to have some type of overhead crane to lift the item during the weighing process.

Crane Scales are typically an industrial design, meaning they are built for rigorous, commercial use. Hanging Scales are a retail or light commercial alternative to Crane Scales.
