QWM has a definate job vacancy for a Technical Sales Representative.

A great opportunity exists for someone with an enthusiasm for sales and a desire to grow into management in the future to join the QWM Technical Sales team. Your will focus will be maintaining and expanding the customer base for medium and heavy industrial weighing products, bagging machines and contract service works in Brisbane and regional Queensland.

Specifically, you will:

• Develop and maintain a strong working partnership with manufacturers, and end users,
• Develop and maintain a regular and structured contact schedule for existing customers,
• Develop and maintain a new customer base for QWM products and services, initially in the metropolitan area and eventually regionally,
• Participate in management and sales training,
• Liaise with the Service Department and management on matters concerning stock, and
• Promote QWM and QWM products to generate sales and increase brand awareness.

The successful applicant will need to have:

• Self confidence and be of excellent personal presentation,
• The ability to learn an extensive product range and demonstrate technical proficiency,
• The self confidence to prospect for a new customer base,
• The organisational and interpersonal skills to quickly establish and build customer relationships,
• The desire to undertake sales, management and personal development training,
• Computer skills in Excel, Word, e-mail etc.,
• A commitment to QWM OHS&E standards and core values,
• A team mentality with strong self motivation and both personal and company results orientation, and
• A current manual drivers licence.
